Sizing Lingerie

When viewing and selecting items from our site, we will indicate what range of sizing each style will fall intoif the item is not true to size. When adding items to your cart select the manufacturer’s size, but use our sizing tips to guide you to insure a better fit.

 Remember:

* One Size will typically fit a size Small to Large.

*All lingerie generally runs one size smaller. If you are a ˝ size, select the next size up.

*Always factor in your height and body type.

*Include the bust size in your selection.  Example: size 34 D/DD bust, waist size 8, height 5’7” = select size large

By using the sizing chart below, along with our 15 years of experience with the manufacture’s we carry, we can “almost” guarantee a perfect fit!

 Hour Glass- Evenly proportioned rib cage and hip; Example: 36”, 24”, 36”;     34”, 22”, 35”;     40”, 34”, 40”

-         This shape will look good in anything.

Pear Shape- Rib cage is narrower than hip

- We suggest, stay away from teddies: You will not be able to get a teddy over the hips unless it’s a larger size; Bottom half will fit, but the top half will be too big

- The best pieces are baby dolls or chemises with an A Line

- Two piece sets will work but are tricky: fit the top first, then look at the  Panty. If the panty looks small, stay away from it; G-string two piece styles work the best in this category.

“V” Shape- Shoulders are broad and hip line is narrow

- "A Line" Chemises will add a hip line, giving her a visual hip

                        - Baby dolls will draw attention away from the hip

                        - Teddies must have a lower back and adjustable

                        - Long gowns must have a lower back and adjustable

- If pieces do not have low backs then there needs to be stretch in the piece to compensate for the width

Round Shape- The same rules apply to the three basic body types, although with the round shape, remember  you need to look at sizes X-Large and up.

Sizing Club wear

Use the sizing chart, above as a guideline. Again, we will indicate what sizing range each item will fall into if it differs from the manufactures size. Generally, when fitting club wear, the manufactures are on point with their sizing. The difficult part is “Does the item have under wire?” If so, we will indicate what size the cup is, not just the size.
